The West Austin Hideout
10 Condominiums | Starting at $386,000
Our Vision
The Clarksville draws from its historical roots. Parisian Haussmann interiors, contemporary materials, and a design sensibility that encourages a gentler, more romantic way of living. In an age where little is built to last, The Clarksville was designed to be the exception.
❋ Hardwood Harringbone FloorsA variation of parquet flooring is a hallmark of Parisian design. We chose a herringbone pattern because we felt it best blended the elegance of Parisian interiors with the character of Austin, Texas.
❋ Marble Fireplace MantelsThe marble fireplace mantel serves as the focal point of these residences. Our goal was to create something that felt traditional and timeless without overpowering the space.
❋ All Marble BathroomsThe bathroom draws inspiration from the materials used in the Architectural Digest–featured primary bathroom of Lenny Kravitz's Paris residence. If you have time, I highly recommend watching the full AD tour of his home, as it was a major source of inspiration for this space.
❋ Antique Mirror Backsplash & Custom CabinetryThe antique mirror is one of the most unexpected design elements in these residences. While antique mirror gained prominence in some of the world's most iconic interiors during the early 20th century, we chose to reinterpret the material in a way that feels fresh and contemporary.
The Team
-
David is a resident of the Clarksville neighborhood and fell in love with the unique characteristics that define it. The Clarksville project grew from a desire to contribute something meaningful to a place he already calls home.
-
Becca works between Austin and New York and has built a reputation for reinterpreting traditional design in fun and unexpected ways. For The Clarksville, each material and finish was chosen not only for how it looks today, but for how it will age, deepen, and grow more beautiful with time.
-
Scott is a locally renowned architect whose work can be found across Austin at places like Dumont’s Down Low, Sip Pho, Stay Put Brewery, and Meteor Coffee. His approach to architecture is guided by a sensitivity to the underlying spirit of a place. Rather than imposing something entirely new, Scott is known for revealing the quiet character that was often there all along.
